The Seoul-based SaaS startup introduces a scalable AIEO & GEO platform that measures brand credibility across AI-generated search results and conversational commerce.

As artificial intelligence reshapes how consumers search, compare, and make purchasing decisions, brands are facing a major marketing inflection point. Traditional SEO strategies—once the foundation of online visibility—are no longer sufficient in an era dominated by AI-generated answers from platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. In this changing landscape, a new discipline has emerged: Answer & Generative Engine Optimization (AIEO, GEO), where a brand’s visibility within AI-generated content defines its relevance and authority.
ChainShift, a Seoul-based SaaS startup founded in 2025, is leading this paradigm shift. The company’s proprietary AIEO & GEO platform allows enterprises to analyze how frequently and in what context their brands appear across generative AI environments, ranging from product recommendations to interactive shopping scenarios. “If SEO defined the web era, AIEO & GEO is shaping the AI economy,” said Amy Han, CEO and co-founder of ChainShift.
Unlike conventional SEO tools dependent on keyword rankings and API analytics, ChainShift captures real generative data—what AI systems actually produce in their responses, summaries, and recommendations. This enables marketing teams to quantify brand exposure and trust at a level that traditional analytics cannot.
Tech giants are also aligning with this transition: Google’s AI Shopping Agent Protocol (AP2) and OpenAI’s Assistant Commerce Protocol (ACP) signal a collective move toward conversational commerce. Consumers are increasingly using AI to receive product guidance rather than visiting multiple e-commerce sites, creating a new competitive arena for brand credibility.
To address this, ChainShift’s AIEO & GEO platform provides citation tracking, benchmarking, and AI-informed content optimization tools. Backed by Antler Korea Cohort 6 and certified as a government-recognized venture startup, the company has already formed partnerships with leading Asian brands across beauty, consumer goods, and electronics, as well as a global consulting group.
Following a successful proof-of-concept (PoC) in the U.K., where it analyzed how AI engines reference local companies, ChainShift is preparing to expand into the Asia-Pacific and U.S. markets. “Visibility within AI-generated ecosystems is no longer optional—it’s the new frontier of brand trust,” Han added.
