Press Release: Dr Paul Robertson on how AI Robots can save PILOTS FROM DISASTER, and how we can Leverage Artificial Social Intelligence to Solve Real-world Problems.

Boston, MA—Dr. Paul Robertson, an Artificial Intelligence Scientist, states ‘that the power of Artificial Social Intelligence (ASI) is revolutionizing how we approach and solve real-world problems’. As industries across the globe become increasingly digitized, machines’ ability to analyze vast datasets and communicate interventions, promptly, can dramatically reduce human error that often leads to fatalities. These technologies represent a huge growth area that will transform sectors such as healthcare, transportation, dangerous equipment management, such as nuclear reactors, and education.

ASI allows an assistant device, such as a robot, to identify dangerous situations and to mobilize huge amounts of background knowledge to assist, without being asked, via fluid interactions with humans. Here’s why DOLL is providing critical tools for addressing the pressing challenges of today:

In a recent Human Subject Research (HSR) study conducted in our lab, twenty-three pilots ranging from student pilots to airline pilots attempted a challenging mission designed to be realistic but challenging.  One involved identifying a serious mechanical fault while the other involved flying a mission under challenging conditions, using a simulator. The pilots who used our AI assistant performed significantly better than those who did not.  100% of the pilots without our assistant failed to notice the mechanical problem and subsequently crashed whereas 75% of those using our assistant aborted takeoff. In the second mission, 65% of the pilots without access to our assistant crashed whereas 100% of the pilots using our assistant successfully completed the mission. The crashes would have been fatal.  Details of the study and details of the results will be published in the coming months.

Following significant enthusiasm for our assistant, we are now seeking investment to commercialize our research results as a product.

1. Enhanced Efficiency and Accuracy:

Traditional methods of problem-solving often involve manual processes that can be time-consuming and prone to human error. Machine Learning algorithms are capable of

analyzing massive amounts of data that an ASI can draw upon to assist in challenging situations. For example, in aviation, most accidents are the result of human error even when there are two pilots in the cockpit.  Pilots forget critical knowledge that is only required in rare situations! ASI assistants having been trained on all the documents related to a field can easily recognize the need and find and provide the necessary information.  The same is true for healthcare and surgery.

In rare situations when stress levels are high, humans make mistakes. The evidence is overwhelming.  Our aviation study underscores the need to leverage Asi and ML technologies to make the world a safer place.

2. Data-Driven Insights:

We are very good at documenting how things should be done, and what must be done in all situations.  We accumulate so much domain knowledge that no one can know it all. Especially in rare situations, such as when an engine fails, people make mistakes.  The statistics in all fields point the finger at human behavior in rare stressful situations.

3. Improving Public Services:

Governments and public organizations are continuously generating new laws and new ways of working with public services.  The ever-changing landscape of policies and services presents a huge bar for all but the largest companies and richest individuals who can afford full-time employees or consultants who can provide expertise in efficiently using public services.  By ingesting all the documentation and maintaining what is current, an ASI assistant can make the system work for everyone.

4. Democratizing Innovation:

An ASI in every home, every office, and every public library can bring expertise in maximizing the benefit of public services to everyone.

Preparing for the Future:

The adoption of Artificial Social Intelligence is key to future-proofing industries. As new challenges arise, ASI assistants can evolve with the data, providing the flexibility and adaptability needed to tackle unforeseen obstacles in the future.

Conclusion:

Artificial Social Intelligence is the bridge between humans and the AI and ML technologies that will be the custodians of knowledge. By improving efficiency, driving innovation, and offering scalable solutions, ASI can address some of the most pressing challenges of our time. Businesses, governments, and individuals should embrace this technology as we move into a world where the amount of knowledge is growing at a frightening rate and access to that knowledge is power.

DOLL Inc. has been engaged in fundamental research in ASI systems for a decade. This will be the next big wave of AI applications.

The future of AI is in interacting fluidly with humans.” says, Dr. Paul Robertson. Artificial Intelligence Scientist
