CEOLED Display and LG Display showed their new Transparent OLED solutions for mobility at InnoTrans 2022 in Berlin. The event is the world’s biggest transport technology fair. These displays are made for public transport. They bring clear images, smart functions, and a better travel experience.
The Transparent OLED for Subway Trains uses SPD smart glass from Gauzy. It is placed inside an IGU (Insulated Glass Unit). The display can replace normal train windows. It shows ads, news, and weather and keeps high transparency at the same time. When SPD is on, it blocks up to 99% of light. This makes the colors bright and the contrast strong in different lighting.
The Smart Digital Information Desk turns a normal station counter into an interactive tool. Passengers can touch the Transparent OLED screen to talk with staff. The screen also shows live train times, alerts, local facilities, and tourist spots. This makes travel easier and more engaging.
The Transparent OLED Show Window is built with four 55-inch panels in a 2×2 design. It can put text, images, and videos in front of real products. This creates a display that feels modern and eye-catching. It works well in retail stores, welcome boards, or interactive areas.
Since 2020, CEOLED Display has given Transparent OLED panels to subway systems in Beijing, Shenzhen, and Fuzhou. It also supplied them to JR East trains in Japan. The company will grow into North America, Europe, Japan, and China. It will bring more Transparent OLED solutions to trains and stations in these regions.
Transparent OLED is also used outside of transport. It is now in retail shops, office spaces, and art shows. These displays create new ways to use space and to share information with people.
