Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division remarked, “The challenges faced by veterans transitioning to civilian life are multifaceted. This legislation addresses these needs, ensuring comprehensive support in education, healthcare, and employment opportunities.”
